So after a long deliberation, numerous opinions taken into consideration, and determining what was best for me and this project, I have decided to ditch the selfie idea and work on discovering my Family Tree. This idea actually came from my grandmother who said this idea would be fun when we were on a date at McDonalds, so without her I probably wouldn’t be writing this blog post or engaging in this project! (You will learn more about her when her specific blog post is written).

How I want to conduct this project is pretty simple. I want to start with interviewing my immediate family members (parents, and both sets of grandparents) to learn their life story and see if I learn something about them that I do not already know. Each post will be a little re-telling of their story including a picture and their name and a brief update on how the project is going. When done with my immediate family members it might get a little trickier, because as you will see soon enough, I might be an only child but my family is huge. So it might transform from interviews into the deeper searching of my family tree via the website Ancestory.ca and then creating a legit hard copy of my family tree. This would allow me to have a final  product for my inquiry project so I could see what I created at the end.

I have also recreated my Trello board to highlight my new plan of action for this project and the upcoming weeks. Overall this idea will be really fun and I get to learn about who I am as well as use a multitude of different media to help me take this project by storm!
